Glen Falls is actually in Tennessee just south of Chattanooga on Lookout Mountain, but it’s close enough to include on our site.
It’s a great short hike with a waterfall finish.
Glen Falls – Trip Details
Glen Falls can be a very impressive site after a soaking rain and retreat substantially in dry weather into a crevace in the rock. So, be sure to plan accordingly.
There is a paved pull-off on Ochs Highway just beyond Sanders Road.
Despite it’s proximity to Chattanooga, the trail and waterfall is not as highly trafficked as you might expect.

Further south along Lookout Mountain, you can spend a day visiting Lula Lake Land Trust and Lula Falls on one of their open gate days. Check out the details of the Lula Falls trip here.
Even further south, consider a visit to Cloudland Canyon State Park for some incredible canyon views along with Hemlock Falls and Cherokee Falls.
