There aren’t many natural waterfalls in the area of the state around Atlanta. The closest bet by driving time would be to drive northwest on Interstate 75 toward Chattanooga to visit Cloudland Canyon State Park or Lula Falls at the Lula Lake Land Trust.
To the north up Interstate 985 or Highway 19, there is a high density of waterfalls around Dahlonega and Helen, Georgia like Raven Cliff Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, DeSoto Falls, Dicks Creek Falls, and Amicalola Falls.
