Duke's Creek Falls - Trip Details
The trailhead to Dukes Creek Falls is just a few miles west of Helen, Georgia. The waterfall's proximity to Helen and accessibility make it a popular destination.
After leaving the Duke's Creek Trailhead, the paved trail will lead you over a moderate path to the falls. At your destination, you can enjoy the falls from the viewing platform and enjoy the convergence of Duke's Creek and Davis Creek.
It's down hill on the way in and uphill on the way out, but the walk is manageable even for young children and small dogs. The total elevation change is about 400 feet.

Continuing north of Helen, you have a chance to visit Horse Trough Falls and Blue Hole Falls.
Or, see the nearby Raven Cliff Falls just 2 miles west on Highway 348.
If that's not enough for you, then you can continue west about 30 minutes from Helen to reach DeSoto Falls, Dick's Creek Falls, Helton Creek Falls, or Trahlyta Falls at Vogel State Park.
